Early Childhood Development

Jodi Fishman has been in the field of education for more than 30 years. She began her career as a classroom teacher in the Baltimore City Public schools. Jodi spent eight years teaching kindergarten at a private school in Annapolis, Maryland, where she became Head of School. An opening as brought Jodi to the Jewish Community Center of Greater Baltimore (JCC) where she spent 13 years serving as Early Childhood Director, Family Educator, teacher trainer, and supervisor for the JCC's special needs programs.. She has been the Executive Director of Bet Yeladim Preschool in Columbia, Maryland since 2011.

Jodi holds a Elementary Education from The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio and received her M.S. in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University, in Baltimore, Maryland. She is the recipient of several honors and awards including the Saxon Award for Educational Vision and Leadership, and has presented at local and national conferences on a variety of topics.
