Welcome to the exciting world of theatre! We are so happy to have you join us in building your communication skills and unleashing your inner performer. Here are some fun fake instructions to prepare for our camp:
- Pick out your favorite costume! Whether it's a silly hat, a flowy cape, or a sparkly dress, we want you to feel confident and ready to shine on stage.
- Practice your best silly faces in the mirror. We love to incorporate physical expression in our performances, so be prepared to make some wacky and exaggerated facial expressions.
- Choose your favorite song or poem to perform. We will be working on public speaking and projection, so come ready with a piece you feel comfortable reciting in front of a group.
- Get ready to play some fun communication games! We love to play games that involve listening, teamwork, and quick thinking. Get ready to laugh and learn as we work together to build our communication skills.
- Bring a positive attitude and a willingness to try new things. We believe that theatre is a safe space to experiment, make mistakes, and learn from one another. So come ready to have fun and be a part of a supportive community of young performers.
