This annual fundraiser features a special cabaret evening marking Artistic Director Cyndi Steele-Harrod’s Chickenshed NYC performing debut. A veteran performer and director with more than 35 years of experience, Cyndi’s celebrated roles include Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard, Golda in Fiddler on the Roof, and Mrs Lovett in Sweeney Todd.
She is joined by Players and Broadway performers Michael Andreaus, Milena Comeau and Jessica Phillips. Michael and Milena are currently appearing in MJ the Musical and The Outsiders respectively. Jessica Phillips recently received rave reviews for her title role in Penelope at Signature Theatre and starred on Broadway as Heidi Hansen in Dear Evan Hansen, spanning the historic shutdown and reopening of the Music Box Theatre.
Guests will enjoy cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and a cabaret-style performance, culminating in a lively paddle raise to support Chickenshed NYC’s inclusive theatre programs for young people.
