Inclusive Theatre Workshops
This semester Players create and devise Don't Stop Believin', a brand new show made entirely from recycled materials, from the set and costumes to the toe-tapping tunes. Making a healthier world is a big task but whether we are students, artists, scientists, engineers or storytellers, young or old we all have a part to play. During the creation process Players meet with guest scientists to discuss how we can make a healthier world and these ideas become part of the show told through music, movement and storytelling. Our inclusive methodology and no audition policy, fosters kindness and inclusion, ensuring everyone can enjoy the experience of being part of a theatrical production.
Teens are emersed into the theatrical world of creating an original musical made entirely from recycled materials.
This semester children will be helping to create a new show Don't Stop Believin'. The overarching theme of this new theatre piece is to theatrically show how we can move towards a healthier world.
Through playful games and activities that fuel their imagination, children dive into all aspects of theatre making to explore The Power of Wonder, the central theme for this semester.
